Ms. Ritter shared her transformative story, which involved the loss of her father while simultaneously discovering her own inner strength and voice.
According to Bamberg County Public Information Officer Alisha Moore, “Kywana’s message was a reminder that sometimes our greatest strength emerges during the most difficult chapters of our lives. As women, we must recognize the value we bring to the table, trust the experiences that have shaped us, support one another, and never be afraid to speak up, show up, and take up space. It was an enlightening afternoon connecting with dynamic women from across our region and hearing honest conversations about the challenges and triumphs they have faced.”
“Bamberg County appreciates Ms. Ritter’s transparency, vulnerability, and encouragement, and the Southern Palmetto Regional Chamber for continuing to create spaces where women can connect, learn, lead, and empower one another,” stated Bamberg County Administrator Joey Preston.
The next Women’s Empowerment Luncheon will be hosted in Bamberg on November 17, 2026.
