Taiwan’s Tech Fair Showcases Cutting-Edge Innovations

(MENAFN) More than 1,000 companies from 16 countries gathered at Taiwan’s Intelligent Asia 2025 tech fair from August 20-23 in Taipei, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and sustainable manufacturing.

The expansive exhibition covered sectors including robotics, laser technologies, logistics, cold chain, mold and die, 3D printing, and fluid power. Organizers emphasized the event’s growing role as a regional nexus for cross-industry collaboration, driven by increasing demand for AI integration in manufacturing processes.

“AI is no longer just about inspecting objects. Now it can analyze and correct defects instantly,” said Chen, an exhibitor at the event. Kumar, an attendee from India, added, “human-centric design is prioritized, and our relationship with AI is collaborative,” underscoring the balance between technology and workforce.

Global manufacturing leaders dominated the exhibition floor, demonstrating precision robotic arms from HIWIN, FANUC, ABB, Epson, and Yaskawa. Collaborative robot manufacturers such as KUKA Taiwan and Universal Robots introduced new models designed for closer human-machine cooperation.

Taiwanese companies also featured prominently. ADLINK highlighted advancements in edge computing, advanced display tech, and unmanned systems. Advantech showcased industrial computers and AI platforms, while Siemens and Delta Electronics presented energy-efficient production solutions.

Sun, a representative from ADLINK, noted that Taiwan’s core strength lies in hardware but stressed the need for greater investment in AI software to maintain global competitiveness.

“Still, focusing on hardware precision and performance has been Taiwan’s key advantage in IT,” he said.

In addition to the exhibition, more than 100 forums and product launches took place across 4,500 booths. Organizers stated that the event not only showcased automation and robotics innovations but also emphasized the vital role of sustainability and innovation in shaping Asia’s manufacturing future.
